H&C Metals Participates in Cans for Cancer

H&C Metals partners with Fairfield UNICO in their Cans for Cancer Fundraiser.

H&C Metals believes in corporate responsibility & giving back to the community. The Colantuono family emphasizes the importance of being an honest, reputable and community driven company. Through partnerships with other companies and charitable organizations, H&C Metals donates services to help make fundraising events successful. The past few years H&C has partnered up with Fairfield UNICO in an aluminum can recycle drive to raise money for the Valerie Fund, called Cans for Cancer.

H&C is happy to support the efforts of customer & friend, Jeff Overton, who organizes the Cans for Cancer event. H&C Metals donates their time and resources to this event by dropping off an industrial roll-off container (dumpster) that sits in the parking lot of West Essex high school. Then students, faculty, Fairfield UNICO members, and general public donate recycled aluminum cans. At the end of the collection H&C Metals picks up the container, weighs the contents and then donates 100% of the money received from recycling the cans to UNICO and the Valerie Fund. H&C Metals is proud to help out this wonderful charity that provides support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders

H&C Metals would like to congratulate and say “Thank You” to Jeff, UNICO and all those who participated in another successful Cans for Cancer Fundraiser. If you have any questions about UNICO and how you can help, please contact Jeff (973) 980-4541.
