Directions to H&C Metals and Balemet Recycling

For Truck/Car Route Directions to H&C Metals:

From 95N take exit 14 towards Newark Airport. Stay in right lane, after tolls take exit to the right (Rte 1 & 9 North). Once on Rte 1 & 9 north take first exit (Delancy Street). Stay in left lane and at bottom of ramp at light turn left. At next light turn left again (Compton Street). Go over bridge and as you descend off bridge take THIRD right (Adams Street). Then take Third left onto Malvern Street. H&C Metals will be ½ block up on your left.

From 78E follow signs for Newark Airport and 1 & 9 North. Taking the exit for 1 & 9 N, follow to Delancy Street exit. Stay in left lane to bottom of ramp. At light turn left. At next light turn left again (Compton Street). Go over bridge and as you descend off bridge take THIRD right (Adams Street). Then take Third left onto Malvern Street. H&C Metals will be ½ block up on your left.

From Route 21 South (McCarter Highway): Left onto South Street. Proceed 4 blocks and make a left onto Jefferson Street. Proceed to THIRD right and turn onto Malvern Street. H&C Metals is a ½ block up on the right.

For Truck/Car Route Directions to Balemet Recycling (60’ Public Platform Scale):

From 95N take exit 14 towards Newark Airport. Stay in right lane, after tolls take exit to the right (Rte 1 & 9 North). Once on Rte 1 & 9 north take first exit (Delancy Street). Stay in left lane and at bottom of ramp at light turn left. At next light turn left again (Compton Street). Go over bridge and as you descend off bridge take FIRST right (Pulaski Street). Then take first right again (Clifford Street). Go almost to end, watch for red and white sign (Scale) on right. That is Balemet Recycling Metals (H&C’s sister company). Back onto scale. If you are driving to H&C Metals (2 ½ blocks away) after weighing-in, follow these directions: Make a left onto Clifford Street, proceed 1 block & make a Right onto Pulaski Street, proceed two blocks & make a Left onto Malvern Street. After 2 Stop signs, H&C Metals is on your left (# 91).

Then take very next right (Clifford Street). Go almost to end, watch for red and white sign (SCALE) on right. Back onto scale.
