Newark's Scrap Metal Facilities & Equipment

H&C Metals is a full service processing facility for e-scrap and scrap metal in New Jersey, featuring a 25,000 sq. foot warehouse with attached offices, conveniently located in the heart of the Ironbound district of Newark. Immediate payment is available for retail purchases according to current scrap metal values. Our facility includes four digital scales, including one truck scale. Equipment includes fork-lift trucks, roll-off trucks, alligator shears, wire stripping machines, torch cutters, a used beverage/steel can container recycling densifier, which magnetically sorts steel from aluminum cans and automatically bales them. Heavy duty baling of aluminum, copper, wire, and radiators is handled by our Nexgen Atlas nonferrous horizontal baler (48" X 60" X 30" size bale). Our loading dock can accommodate any size export container and domestic van trailer. Additional equipment includes tractor trailers and dump trailers.

Balemet Recycling is a Ferrous (Steel) scrap processing facility, with scrap metal yards and attached offices, located ½ mile from H&C Metals & conveniently located next to major highways. Immediate payment is available for retail purchases. Materials accepted include loose Light Iron, Light Iron bales, Steel food/beverage cans, heavy steel, Cast Iron, steel cable, Turnings, machinery, auto parts, etc. Equipment includes portable mobile Grapple crane with elevated cab, Mobile Shear, Front Loader, Bobcat, Fork Lifts, Harris high-density horizontal baler, digital public- certified 60' platform truck scale, tractor trailers, dump & van trailers and roll-off trucks.
