Scrap must be delivered via vehicle. H&C does not permit walk-ins. A valid ID such as a Driver’s License, Passport, or a “Junk Dealer License”, issued by The City of Newark. H&C Metals enforces The City of Newark’s requirement that proof of ID is presented to sell scrap. This requirement will probably be an eventual NJ State law.
Ferrous metals refers to iron & steel & are magnetic. Nonferrous refers to all other more valuable metals such as Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Lead & Stainless Steel, etc.
Residential scrap pick-up is a service we can arrange, but the decision to pick-up is based on the distance between H&C & the residence, the weight/quantity of material & what the material is. For additional information, call H&C.
